Light enough to enjoy any time of day, yet packed with flavor (thanks to a lot of garlic) and a touch of savory crunch from nutritional yeast, they’re our favorite summer treat.
Ingredients:
1 large bunch of kale
3–4 cloves garlic, finely minced (or more, if you love garlic as much as Erin does!)
2–3 tablespoons olive oil, Sea salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2–3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F. Wash and dry the kale thoroughly, then tear the leaves into large pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss the kale with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the kale in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle generously with nutritional yeast.
- Bake for 12–18 minutes, checking often to be sure the chips stay crisp and bright green without browning. Let cool slightly before serving.
Tip: Store leftovers in an airtight container—if you have any!
