Business Spotlight: Context of Things

I want to introduce you to this really cool company started by some friends and clients of mine called, Context of Things. They specialize in transforming real materials such as stone, marble, and reclaimed wood into really phenomenal pieces. They have artisans from around the world that handcraft each piece, specializing in bespoke designs from accent tables and wall décor to fine art and hand-knotted rugs. Because they work directly with the artisans, they don’t bear the traditional retail margins, and pass all cost savings to their customers. They are the perfect partner to interior designers and stagers.

Context of Things' Five Main Philosophies

Context is Everything - We love a design challenge of rejuvenating objects from their originally intended spots, and reimagining them within new spaces, giving them new life and light.

Objects with Soul - Our thoughtfully designed, hand-crafted objects induce warmth and sophistication. This is because we use real materials like exquisite marble and reclaimed wood, all sustainably sourced and skillfully transformed by human hands.

Bespoke within Reach – We merge the exclusive with the attainable. Our enviable rolodex of over 250 global vendors, fostered over the past 50+ years, allows us to pass the economic savings directly onto our customers, making customizable décor readily accessible in price.

Intentionally Curated - We are purpose driven in the objects we make, seek, and find. We are avid global travelers in search of the strikingly beautiful. We believe that “what you find alluring is based on where you’ve traveled and what you’ve seen.”

Discerning Quality Assurance - Our dedicated team at Context brings years of quality control expertise to every detail, ensuring every product feature meets each customer’s highest expectations.
