Cooler nights don’t slow the city down — San Francisco’s night markets continue through fall and winter with food, music, and community energy.

Fort Mason Night Market

Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture | Monthly on Fridays (5 PM - 10 PM) 

San Francisco’s newest waterfront tradition, the Fort Mason Night Market, returns as a monthly Friday night series after a debut that drew more than 10,000 visitors in 2024. The historic Fort Mason Center becomes a lively showcase of local food, craft vendors, music, and art. Expect more than 100 artists and designers curated by West Coast Craft, 25+ food and drink spots from Off the Grid, plus live music, workshops, and installations. Family-friendly, free, and uniquely San Francisco.

North Beach Night Market

Set against the backdrop of San Francisco’s “Little Italy,” the North Beach Night Market turns the neighborhood into a lively evening street festival with food, music, and local makers. Expect Italian favorites alongside global street eats, plus live entertainment and community programming that nods to North Beach’s storied past as both a cultural and nightlife hub.

Castro Night Market

18th & Castro | 3rd Friday of the Month (5 PM - 10 PM) 

In the heart of one of San Francisco’s most iconic neighborhoods, the Castro Night Market blends food, shopping, and live performances with the Castro’s unmistakable spirit. Launched in 2024, the series transforms 18th & Castro into a community celebration every third Friday, highlighting local vendors, artists, and entertainers.

Chinatown Night Market

Grant Ave. from California to Pacific | Second Friday of the Month (May - October)

Since launching in 2023, the market has grown into a citywide draw, attracting up to 18,000 visitors each month and featuring more than 40 neighborhood restaurants and merchants. More than a night out, the market is helping revitalize Chinatown as one of San Francisco’s premier cultural destinations—a partnership between Civic Joy Fund and BeChinatown.
