This Spanish Mediterranean has graced Baker Street for 93 years, and is now offered for the first time in over 60, by the family who purchased from the original owners. The location, just 2 blocks from The Palace of Fine Arts, the gracious scale, and the fact that virtually all original detail remains intact, make this home such a worthy candidate for expansion & updating. Ornate millwork, wrought iron, hand-fired tile and rich Mahogany combine to create such curb appeal! Features in the public rooms include a massive tiled fireplace flanked by Mahogany built-ins, a barrel-vaulted ceiling, wrought iron chandeliers & railings, and a formal dining room that can easily accommodate a seating for 12. The kitchen is functional and has a breakfast area and pantry. The bedrooms and baths are well-proportioned, and the principal bedroom has a dressing area & bath en suite. Ground level is a den with original fireplace and garden access, a 2 car garage, laundry, storage and a 1/4 bath. See it!
